ITINERARY
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Check-in to your accommodation
Begin your day with a guided tour of Ulaanbaatar, visiting attractions such as the Gandan Monastery, the National Museum of Mongolia, and Sukhbaatar Square. In the afternoon, attend a safety briefing conducted by your tour operator. This briefing should cover safety protocols, emergency procedures, and any specific guidelines for the tour, especially for remote areas.
Depart from Ulaanbaatar and head to Baga Gazar Rock, known for its unique rock formations. Explore the area and take in the natural beauty. Depending on the time, you may set up camp or stay in a nearby ger camp.
Visit the White Stupa, a striking white rock formation, or Tsagaan Suvarga, another stunning geological site with white and red cliffs. Explore the area, take photos, and learn about the geological history.
Drive to Ongi Monastery, a historic and cultural site along the Ongi River. Explore the ruins of the monastery, which was once one of the largest in Mongolia. Learn about its history and significance.
Choose between visiting the famous sand dunes of the Gobi Desert or the smaller but picturesque Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes. Enjoy camel riding and experiencing the desert landscape. Spend the night in a ger camp near the dunes.
Return to Ulaanbaatar. Farewell dinner in the city. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for final activities or packing.
Check out of your accommodation and head to the airport for your departure.
