The highest point is situated at an altitude of 1520 meters above sea level while the Gobi itself covers over 1.3 square kilometers making it a perfect destination for those who love exploring on their Enduro bikes. This tour will take us through various terrains such as lost monasteries, rolling hills, sand dunes, high rocky formations, canyons, steppes that seem to go on forever, as well as small saxaul tree forests. Challenge your skills and feel the real adventure — all from the sturdy pegs of our Brand New Enduro Style KTM Motorcycles.
We'll see one of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets at the Flaming Cliffs and White Stupa;

We will start the trip by heading south first thing in the morning. You can see that even close to the city, people still live the traditional lifestyle. The outer city road will transition from blacktop to dirt as we cross the green rolling hills of Central (“Töv”) Province. Ride on to Baga Gazar Rocks, a formation of magnificent granite rocks and the ancient ruins of a temple. Genghis Khan once faced one of his most challenging battles here. Our SOR chef will serve you a freshly made dinner after we arrive at the ger(yurt) camp. You can enjoy some cold beer and snacks under the starry skies.
Exciting day ahead! We will ride further south through Mandalgovi, capital of Dundgovi province to White Stupa(Tsagan Suvrag). White Stupa is a sheer slope that used to be an ancient seabed featuring a sedimentary structure that was created over millions of years and is one of the must-see places in Gobi. It rises to the sky at an angle of 90 degrees and it is over 60 meters tall at its highest point while continuing for an impressive length of 400 meters. After pouring rain, the torrent of water that flows down the stupa looks like a massive waterfall.
We will ride through Dalanzadgad, the capital of Ömnögobi province, and arrive at today’s main attraction - Vulture(Yol) Valley. The valley is the main highlight of Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. This scene might be what everyone imagines when they hear about Mongolia – blue sky, rocky earth, livestock grazing freely, and endless horizon stretching from east to west.
We will ride west along the Gurvansaikhan Mountain and arrive at the Singing sands of Khongor(Khongorin Els). As the sand moves due to wind or are in the process of collapse due to small avalanches, strong sound gives it its name, "Singing Sands." It is another must-see place of the Gobi. It will be the day to enjoy the sand, the perfect place to surf with our enduro bikes along the edge of the dunes! You have an opportunity to experience the nomadic lifestyle of camel herders. Go ahead and take some photos! And while at it, why not switch from riding a motorcycle to camelback? I am sure you will love it!
We will ride through a beautiful mountain pass, leaving the golden dunes behind us and onto Bulgan village. Bayanzag is not far from there. The name Bayanzag means rich in saxaul bushes. The place is not only beautiful, but it is also a historical landmark. Back in the 1920s, a team led by Roy Chapman Andrews found the first dinosaur eggs known to science during his expedition. Many dinosaur remains have been found at the Flaming Cliffs.
We proceed northeast through Mandal Ovo and then to Saikhan Ovo. In the middle of the Gobi desert mountains, nestling on the south and north banks of the "Ongi" river lies nothing more than the ruins of the Ongi Monastery. It was one of the most important monasteries, with four religious institutions and housing over one thousand monks at its height, until its destruction in 1939 during anti-religious purges in Mongolia. The best time to go hiking to catch the spectacular view from this sacred mountain is in the evening.
We continue northwards through Erdenadalai, one of the districts of Dundgovi, to reach Zorgol Khairkhan, a sacred mountain about 150 km from Ulaanbaatar. The red granite mountain does indeed have a diverse and beautiful nature to offer. It has many caves and water springs. Genghis Khan used to go hunting around this mountain. Our last night will be in this sacred place, and if you have enough energy, you can climb in the evening.
In the "Secret History of the Mongols," it is mentioned that Genghis Khan and Tooril Khan spent the autumn of 1202 at this mountain, where they had a father-son ritual and took an oath of loyalty. He previously had a blood brother ritual with Genghis Khan's father Yesükhei and served as an important early patron and an ally.
As we head back to Ulaanbaatar, the landscape becomes greener and more mountainous, and there are more horses and fewer camels than we encountered in the Gobi. After returning to Ulaanbaatar, we will have a break and shower at the hotel. There will be time to do some cashmere shopping if desired. Later we will take you to Ulaanbaatar’s best restaurant for a farewell dinner.
Transfer to the airport.
Bon Voyage, we hope to see you again!
